Wow, feel silly but am trying to figure this out. I have a gloss black 3.2 front plate mount for the US sized plate - it all mounts perfectly etc.. However, the holes they have built into for the license plate are clearly too wide for a US plate. On my front plate mount that came factory with the car that is the gray plastic, they just sloppily drilled into it. Is this the only way? Seems a little silly.
