I've done double-side velcro tape once and it served well for four months. The clear kind that is similar to e-z pass windshield affixer. Can also be found at radio shack. Glue did not leave a mark on the b6 s4 bumper.

Yea, there is an outfit out there that makes an electric unit that the front plate would be basically parallel to the road unseen and hidden under and in the front area and at a push of a button from the interior, like 15 seconds it pushes out and then in a vertical position for display. Saw this about 2 years ago and I think it was not to unreasonable of $150 or so....I have no further information then that.
You just got to keep looking.

Earth Magnets!! No doubt, awhile back i made the same post and someone suggested these magnets, its worked on my car ever since. I really owe that person a thank you because they work great and i would not do it any other way. I normally only put the plate on for parking but i have forgot to take it off many times and done speeds up to 70 and it didnt move. Also have driven with it in snow rain anything. Works great and highly recommend
