The following incidents were obtained from Goose Creek Police Department reports:
• A dirt bike was reportedly stolen from a Clay Street residence on Dec. 28. The 2002 10cc Honda is red with a white panel that has a muffler burn hole though the panel. The dirt bike was stolen from the back patio where it had been parked and was last seen the night before.
A smaller dirt bike parked next to the stolen one was not taken. The resident said their gate was opened and to his knowledge it had been closed prior to the incident. The complainant said he was the victim of another theft of the same dirt bike and those suspects were arrested and his property was returned. The dirt bike, valued at $1,000, was placed into NCIC. The investigation continues.
• Unbeknownst to the first dirt bike theft victim, what appears to be a next-door neighbor on Clay Street had six dirt bikes stolen the same night. The complainant said the dirt bikes were under a carport in his backyard and when he awoke unknown subjects had stolen them.
He noticed that both fences, one on each side of the residence leading from his front yard to backyard, were open, and he was sure they were closed prior to him going to sleep. He had last seen the dirt bikes the night before while working on a vehicle next to them.
The total value of the stolen dirt bikes is $5,600.
The dirt bikes are a green 2008 Kawasaki 140cc, red a 1989 Honda XR250 with number “58” on the front and side plate, a red 1995 Honda XR80 with number “95” on front plate, a blue 2002 Yamaha 225cc with number “31” on the front plate, a red 2011 Honda XR200 and a 1998 white Honda XR100. The dirt bikes were entered into NCIC. The investigation continues.
• A married couple on Blue Fox Lane had their Polaris ATV and the trailer it was secured and parked on stolen from their front yard early on Dec. 31. The husband left to go to work at 2 a.m. and the ATV and trailer were still there. When the wife left the house at 4 a.m., they were no longer there.
The ATV and trailer were found later that day and recovered from another residence. The complainant made a statement that he wished to pursue criminal charges. The investigation continues.
