Hi guys. I had a nice looking front license plate on my last vehicle, but was unable to transfer it onto my '02 OBW because it lacks front brackets. How would I go about putting one on? Simply drill it?
If so, how did you guys go about measuring it out? I don't want to drill into my bumper only to screw up and ruin it. Also, what kind of screws? Rubber washers?

On a side note... for anybody keeping up with my other Subie problems: Have an appt in 3 weeks with the mechanic. He's going to replace the head gaskets, water pump, timing belt, spark plugs, all pullies and seals, attempt to fix my steering wheel shaking problem, and inspect it - all for about $1200. Not bad, I'd say. Dad's splitting it with me, which makes it even better. After that, it should be smooth sailing for many years in this Subaru!
