Here’s a bit more info on what I mean:Three years ago I wouldn’t even see one American car in an entire year over here in the Kitchener-Waterloo region area, but now I see 2 or 3 cars a day with bumper stickers like “Don’t mess with Texas”, or “I am a grad of California State U” (together with 3 other stickers about the state he lived in, plus, the license plate surround was from a Honda Dealership in California, even though his plate was a new ‘Ontario’ license plate. ) All of these cars are now sporting Ontario licenses, but the dead giveaway is all the bumper stickers advertising stuff from their state ( such as the thing about the ‘Lockport Caves’, an attraction of Lockport New York ). I see so many cars with plates attached to the front of their cars with wire or zip-ties since their cars don’t come with front plate holders. Every car in Canada comes with front plate holders, so the only American cars don’t have them. I thought that maybe there was a big influx of used American cars, so I personally talked to 4 of the drivers with these plates on them, and every single one of them were Americans over here looking for jobs. They told me of how they were at their wit’s end and had been unemployed for many months ( one guy = 1.5 years) before finally giving up and moving here to get a job, all 4 of them ! So is this the main reason why our population is exploding and rentals are hard to find? Canada does an excellent job of protecting the Canadian jobs it does have. Americans are sometimes asked when they enter Canada, "You do not plan towork or do a job which could be done by a Canadian ?" It is extremely difficult to emigrate to Canada if you area US citizen, especially now in a world recession. Secondly, you are seeing a number of Americans who are visiting because the economy is so bad that Europe is simply not a realistic financial option to visit for so many,and Canada, by virtue of distance, is.When the economy improves, this may change. I don't want to do this, but I think it may come time. I bought the car from Nova Scotia, but live in New Brunswick. Some of you may know that within the last 5 years, NB passed a law requiring all vehicles to have a license plate on the front and back 
I did some research on the internet, and a few people have shimmied up some ways of attaching the plate mount without drilling holes - as that's what I want to avoid.
I've read things like zip-tying the mount through the front grill on an Mitsubishi evo, etc.. But have not found much for the G5. Because of the front design of all G5s, I'm starting to lose hope on finding a way of mounting the plate without drilling holes.
Has anyone conquered the hole-drilling, and come up with a way to mount it, or am I just living in a wishful world?

We already had a bracket mounted on the front of our long-term 2012 Mazda 3, but we didn't have screws for the front license plates, so today I bought a couple and finished the job.
Front license plates are a bit of hassle (mainly when you're driving without one... I've been pulled over and issued a citation before), but my main complaint here is that our Mazda was issued a set of the new-style California plates that have the URL for the Department of Motor Vehicles' website on them.
I don't like having advertising on license plates (beyond the state name itself, that is), even if it's for a government agency website that California residents already know how to find anyway. It's not as bad as the MyFlorida(.com) plates, but still it's an eyesore, albeit a very minor eyesore. I've always thought personalized plates were a waste of money, but I'd pay more not to have a URL on my tags.

Background The aim of this work is to characterize a transparent tissue layer partially covering the anterior surface of the type I Boston permanent keratoprosthesis front plate in four patients. Methods The tissue over the front plate was easily scrolled back as a single transparent layer using a sponge. In two cases, histopathologic analysis was undertaken and immunofluorescent staining with a cytokeratin 3-specific antibody was performed. The relationship of the tissue to the keratoprosthesis device was further characterized using spectral domain high-definition optical coherence tomography (HD-OCT).
